Passive House Granbäck, Sweden

Passive house Granbäck is the first passive house in the Stockholm-region. The house is very energy-effective. The use of energy for heating is about 15–16 kWh/m² per year. The house also makes use of free energy from sunshine through the windows, electrical appliances, from the residents and so on. In spite of the fact that the house needs very little energy, it offers the same comforts as any ordinary house.
