Paroc is certified for Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort GOLD

Paroc certified for Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort® GOLD

We spend more and more time indoors and the quality of indoor air is increasingly important. As a next step in innovating for a better built environment, Paroc has certified a group of HVAC products according to Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort® Gold scheme - the most ambitious low-emitting label in Europe.

Emission classification of building materials in general

To achieve better indoor air quality, products designed for use in buildings and indoor spaces have to meet strict chemical emission limits, which contribute to the creation of healthier interiors. The aim of the voluntary emission classification Indoor Air Comfort® is to enhance the development and use of low emitting building materials. Emission Classification is product-specific.

Certified products

As from May, 2017 all below listed  HVAC Pipe Sections, Mats and Lamella Mats are certified according to Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort® Gold scheme fulfilling the highest demands on emissions to indoor air quality. Paroc Hvac products

Eurofins – A Voluntary Labelling Scheme

Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort® is a voluntary labelling system open to all manufacturers of building products. The classification does not overrule official building codes or interpretations of them. However, many developers, architects and designing engineers favour Eurofins classified products when selecting materials for their projects in order to promote a sustainable high-quality construction.

The Indoor Air Comfort program

Indoor Air Comfort GOLD:

This label combines all relevant European regulations and most of the voluntary labels on VOC emissions from products - just by copying together the most stringent requirements in any EU country into one label. This makes Indoor Air Comfort GOLD the most ambitious low-eWithin Europe, the EU ecolabel could have decided to offer a combination covering all the European specifications on low VOC emissions into one label, but they prefer just to add another label instead. Now Indoor Air Comfort fills the gap of a pan-European label.

Indoor Air Comfort:

This label combines all European regulations on VOC emissions from products into indoor air - just by copying together the most stringent legal requirements in any EU country into one label. A product labelled with Indoor Air Comfort will comply with the limit values as defined by any regulation across Europe.
